Tallulah is a well-known member of the PE Direct family, a recent BSc Sports Management graduate from Cardiff Metropolitan University who has worked with us for the past 2 years. Tallulah started with us as a social media intern while studying at university before making the decision to step into the classroom after completing her studies and relocating to Swansea.
We are over the moon to announce that Tallulah has secured and started a contract as a teaching assistant with Brynbach, a new satellite provision based at Ysgol Maesydderwen, where she has been working through PE Direct since July. The unit is an outstanding provision for pupils with complex emotional, social, and behavioural needs. The introduction of the satellite provision enables its pupils to attend a dedicated and supported provision that is based as close to home as possible.
Tallulah has been like a breath of fresh air in the provision; she fosters relationships with the pupils that are positive and encouraging, and her patience and commitment are truly an inspiration. We were so excited to hear that Tallulah has taken the lead with PE and cooking within the unit, using these crucial subjects to further her relationship with the pupils and to nurture the development of social, emotional, and confidence through a therapeutic approach.
We wish Tallulah the very best of luck and look forward to hearing more about the excellent work she is doing in Brynbach.
Congratulations, Tallulah! Brynbach pupils are very lucky!
