Congratulations to Macauley Davies, a new member of the PE Direct team, who has recently started a new role as a teaching assistant at Greenhill Special School. A unique school in Cardiff that supports pupils aged 11–18 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Macauley brings a great deal of experience to this role. His previous career in the British Army highlights his strong sense discipline, resilience, and dedication. More recently, as a support worker, he has focused on promoting well-being and independence among adults and young people. These experiences have equipped him with a skill set that is perfectly suited to supporting students at Greenhill Special School.
Greenhill Special School is renowned for its innovative approach to education, placing an emphasis on outdoor learning and a therapeutic approach to ensure every pupil feels supported and valued. Macauley’s enthusiasm and dedication were evident from the start, making him an ideal match for Greenhill.
We are very excited to see the positive impact he will have in his new role, that has already been confirmed for next academic year.
