This week, we are excited to shine a spotlight on Christian, who has just completed his second full week with Llanwern’s Alder Provision. While Christian is new to the team and to the role of a TA, he brings a wealth of experience, having worked in a variety of impactful roles with both adults and children. His previous positions include Education Officer, Life Coach, Equality and Engagement Officer, Community Project Worker, and Project Manager. With such a diverse background, Christian has a deep passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
Christian’s wealth of experience has allowed him to quickly adapt to the needs of the students in the Alder Provision, which supports pupils with complex Additional Learning Needs (ALN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The provision’s small group settings enable the specialist team that Christian has joined, to provide focused, personalised support, which has made a real difference to the pupils.
His experience and dedication have made a significant difference in the setting. Christian is already doing fantastically well, adapting to the needs of his students, and ensuring they feel supported and engaged. His positive attitude is contagious, and he commented, “Loving it here, fair play, thank you for your support.” It’s clear that he is thriving in this environment, and the pupils are benefiting from his enthusiasm and expertise.
We are incredibly proud to have Christian as part of the team. His diverse background and passion for working with children are already making a lasting impact at Llanwern, and we look forward to seeing all the great work he will continue to do in the future.
Keep up the amazing work, Christian!
