We are delighted to share some exciting news here at PE Direct! After an incredible 30 years in the teaching profession, Gemma has decided to embark on a new chapter in her career, joining our team as a Director of PE Direct alongside Managing Director Rob Williams.
Gemma’s extensive experience in education is nothing short of impressive. Throughout her career, she has taught almost every subject in a high school setting and has taken on a range of leadership roles, including Head of Department, Head of a Nurture Unit, and Head of Teaching and Learning. Her dedication to creating equal opportunities in education, particularly for underprivileged children, has always been a driving force in her work.
In her new role, Gemma will be overseeing the vetting, training, and aftercare of our candidates. Her deep understanding of the challenges educators face, combined with her passion for making a difference, will ensure that our candidates receive the highest level of support and guidance. This will not only benefit our staff but also ensure that our clients receive the best possible support for their schools and pupils.
