PHYSICAL LITERACY
Becoming physically literate is as important for children as learning to read and write. Children need to be confident in their physical literacy skills – agility, balance and coordination – by the time they are seven if they are to have the best chance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle in the future.
You can help the children in your school achieve this by using one of our qualified cover staff as your PPA cover supervisor. They will help the children develop their physical literacy skills so they can take part in PE with confidence in the future.

PHYSICAL NUMERACY
Physical activity can help children engage while they develop their basic numeracy skills.
For example, when children are counting goals, timing laps, measuring distances thrown or keeping score, they are applying their numeracy skills in real-life situations. Working outside in this way re-engages the children with numeracy and helps them become more confident, particularly as their skills develop.
We can plan and run bespoke programmes for small groups of children of any ability. We’ll tailor the activities to suit the needs of each child and will evidence their progress in every lesson.
