As the school year comes to an end, PE Direct is thrilled to share some exciting news and achievements from the past year. As specialists in physical education (PE) and additional learning needs (ALN), we are passionate about supporting our candidates and impacting the lives of vulnerable learners. We are proud to have supported 151 dedicated staff members who have made a significant impact on the lives of students in various schools across South Wales.
Highlights of the Year
- PGCE Success Stories: Next year, 10 of our staff members will embark on their journey to become qualified teachers by starting their PGCE courses. We also welcomed back 10 individuals who successfully completed their PGCEs and returned to us in June and July.
- University Partnerships: We had the pleasure of collaborating with several universities, facilitating paid placements for aspiring educators. This included 3 students from Cardiff University and 25 students from Cardiff Met University, all of whom gained invaluable hands-on experience.
- Direct Contracts: We are delighted to report that 10 of our staff members secured direct contracts with schools, highlighting the trust and reliance that our schools place in our candidates.
